Warren residents will choose from three candidates vying for one seat on the Bristol Warren Regional School Committee this November, and Councilwoman Keri Cronin faces a Democratic challenger in the primary.

Warren candidates declare for 2022 election

Warren residents will choose from three candidates vying for one seat on the Bristol Warren Regional School Committee this November, and will have to choose between four candidates for three Town Council seats (all three current councilpersons are running for re-election).
The full slate of candidates that were filed yesterday at the state's deadline includes:

Town Council (three to be elected)

Statewide Primary (Sept. 13, 2022)
Keri M. Cronin (D)
Daryl W. Gould (D)

General Election (Nov. 8, 2022)
Joseph A. DePasquale (I)
John W. Hanley (I)

Non-partisan School Committee (one to be elected)

General Election (Nov. 8, 2022)
Nancy J. Fritz
Jarrod E. Hazard
Kyle J. Jackson

Erin Schofield, former School Committee chairwoman, decided not to run in 2022.

State Representatives

Current District 67 representative Jason Knight (D) faces two challengers in Republicans Scott Fuller and Ronald Paul Jarvais Jr.

District 68, currently held by June Speakman (D), will have two challengers come November: Republican Rae-Ann Lawrence and Independent William Hunt. Speakman defeated Hunt by a 61 to 38 percent margin in 2020.

State Senators

Current District 10 senator, Walter Felag Jr., will face Republican Allyn Meyers.
