Pokanokets celebrate Heritage Day at Burr's Hill Park

Burr’s Hill Park was alive on Sunday, featuring the most recent day dedicated to celebrating the heritage, culture, and persistence of the Pokanoket Tribe during Pokanoket Heritage Day.

The event, open to all members of the public, featured authentic drumming, dancing, craft making, and invited people to undergo a traditional spiritual smudging.
