Gould — Knight is not change, he is more of the same

What does representative Jason Knight stand for?

He says he is against the legislative grant program, but continues to participate in it. If it is morally wrong, you do not use money to justify your participation.

He claims to stand against state leadership, however, he voted in line with Speaker Mattiello 98.6 percent of the time. Only six legislators voted more in line with the Speaker, and one of them was the Speaker himself.

Knight claims to stand for the taxpayer, but supported using our tax dollars to buy a ball park for multi-millionaires.

This is the same Jason Knight I ran against in 2016. Now, he has the burden of his hypocrisy and voting record to contend with. My goal is simply to educate my fellow constituents on exactly who he is. If you choose to continue to vote for him, expect more of the same.

He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far.
