Librarian and film enthusiast Doug Swiszcz continues his film lecture series Real-Life Couples on the Silver Screen, on Friday afternoons at 1:30 p.m. at the Barrington Public Library, in the newly renovated Salem Family Auditorium. On March 16, The Big Sleep (1946), starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall, will be shown. This was the second of four films that the couple made together. The rest of the lineup includes Paris Blues on March 23 and That Hamilton Woman on April 6.
