Elvira L. (Primiano) Tesarek, 88, of Barrington, RI, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020, at Miriam Hospital, Providence.

Born in Warren, RI, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Saviano) Primiano.

Mrs. Tesarek worked for the Bristol County Head Start Program as a pre-school teacher for 25 years, retiring in 1997. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and grand dogs, Coco and Puddles. Mrs. Tesarek was a communicant of St. Alexander's Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Kristin Patterson and her husband David of Barrington, RI; and two grandchildren, Ryan Patterson and Rachael Patterson. She was the sister of the late Peter Primiano, Michael Primiano, David Primiano, Joseph Primiano and Mary Merolla.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, in St. Alexander’s Cemetery, Warren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rhode Island SPCA, 186 Amaral St., Riverside, RI, 02915.
