The nine candidates vying for three Bristol seats on the Bristol Warren Regional School Committee are expected to take part in a public candidates’ forum on Thursday, Oct. 18, in the Colt School auditorium.
The program is being organized and hosted by East Bay Newspapers. It begins at 6 p.m., with an opportunity to meet the candidates. Members of the audience are invited to write questions on index cards to be considered for use during the forum. The program begins at 6:30 p.m. The nine candidates are incumbents Paul Silva, Diana Campbell and William “Bill” O’Dell, along with Robert Hancock, Carly Reich, Patrick Usher, Victor Cabral, Andrew Benn and Sheila Ellsworth.
In Warren, two candidates are vying for one seat. One of the candidates cannot attend, so both will have an opportunity to deliver a statement to the audience (or have it read for them), but they will not take part in the forum itself. They are incumbent Erin Schofield and challenger Charles Thibadeau.
