Alan M. Jacobs, age 58, passed away unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, July 15, 2020.  He was the loving husband of Catherine Sireci-Jacobs to whom he was married for 19 years.

Born in Fall River, MA a son of Mary (Garofalo) Isadore and the late Avon H. Jacobs, he was a long-time resident of Warren.

He attended East Providence High School, worked as a golf course superintendent and was a skilled automotive mechanic for 30 years. With his broad knowledge and skill set in mechanics no task could stand in his way. Alan had the special talent of being able to take apart motors, cars, appliances, and lawnmowers and successfully putting them together. He could fix anything! Alan’s integrity and character were reflected in the relationships he had. A passion of Alan’s was shooting pool, where everyone gravitated towards him and respected him.

In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his children, Alan M. Jacobs, Jr. (Danielle), Alicia Jacobs (Mike), Joseph Burns, Jordan Burns (Nicole), Jessica Burns and Joshua Burns; one sister Joanne Nutini; one brother, Dennis Jacobs; seven grandchildren, Parker, David, Aries, Aryia, Jacob, Jackson and Julia and many beloved nieces and nephews.

His funeral arrangements are in the care of the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home. For service information and to leave a note of condolence please visit www.wilbur-romano.com
