With new park, dog days of summer arrive in Tiverton
Tiverton's Raymond F. Jones Memorial Dog Park officially opened its gates Sunday, June 5, to an excited crowd of spectators (and their human companions). The community park was a labor of love as 90 percent of all work on the grounds was completed by volunteers. A grand opening celebration will take place later this summer. The park is named as a memorial to Tiverton’s former Animal Control Officer Raymond F. Jones, who passed away in 2019. His family was on site to commemorate the opening. The park is across from the library, at 34 Roosevelt Ave.
