To the editor:

The Tiverton High School Guidance Department recently held its 16th annual Newport County College & Career Fair on October 20, 2016. Over 100 colleges and universities were represented at the fair, and more than 300 families from the East Bay area and nearby Massachusetts attended. The fair was once again a great success. The Guidance Department staff truly appreciates the time and effort given by the parents, students, faculty and the community members.

A special thanks goes out to the following community sponsors: Tom’s Market, Dunkin Donuts-Stafford Road, The Moose Café, Coastal Roasters, Subway-Tiverton, Subway-Fall River, Famous Pizza, Sabitado’s Pizza, The Black Goose, The Provender, Family Ties Restaurant, Dominos Pizza, BJ’s-Middletown and N. Dartmouth, Foodworks, Leo’s Greenhouse, and Gerry Duponte.

It is because of the tremendous community and parent support that we are able to offer programs such as the college fair for the students of Tiverton High School and surrounding schools. Thank you, once again, for all that you have done and continue to do in supporting our students.

We look forward to the continued success of the college fair next year.
