To the editor:

On behalf of Family Pet Advocates, I would like to thank all of the area artists and artisans, local businesses, authors and musicians, volunteers and attendees who contributed to our first Art 4 Paws fundraising event, held on August 3.

There was an amazing response from the community in support of our mission to assist local families in need with the resources they require to keep their pets at home. 

Thanks to the combined efforts of many, Family Pet Advocates, a 501(c)(3) organization, will be able to provide the supplies and services needed to allow people to properly care for their beloved animals during the challenges of life when they need each other the most.
