With the election four days away, more than 36 percent of Warren's 8,683 registered voters have cast their ballots either by early voting, or via mail.

As of Friday morning, 1,349 residents had taken advantage of early in-person voting in Warren, which began in mid-October. In addition, 1,809 mail ballots had been counted, according to data provided by the Rhode Island Secretary of State.

When the rest of Warren heads to the polls, they will have several races to decide, as well as state and local elections. Local races include:

Warren Town Council
This year, incumbents Brandt Heckert, a Democrat, and Steve Calenda, an Independent, are running unopposed for two open seats.

Bristol Warren Regional School Committee
In the non-partisan race, four candidates from Warren — Daryl Gould, David Matheson, Nicky Piper and Tara Thibaudeau — are fighting for two open seats.

House of Representatives, District 68
Incumbent Democrat June Speakman, a first term representative, is facing a challenge from Libertarian Billy Hunt. Though the seat covers parts of Bristol as well as Warren, the two Warren residents are the only candidates for the office.

Senate District 10
Incumbent Democrat Walter Felag is facing a challenge from Republican Mark Smiley. Though the seat covers parts of Tiverton and Bristol along with Warren, both candidates hail from Warren.

Charter Review Commission
Only two candidates —Al Galinelli and John Bento — are running for the nine-member board. Write-ins will be noted following the election, with the Warren Town Council filling the remaining seats.

On Tuesday, Nov. 3, polls in Warren are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The following polling stations will be used:
