Paolino Properties recently announced that Pita Pocket is now open in the Barrington Shopping Center.

Pita Pocket offers a new Mediterranean flare to the local food scene of the East Bay. The restaurant’s menu includes such fresh and homemade items as shawarma, gyro, falafel, hummus, baklava and more.

“We're excited to welcome Pita Pocket to the Barrington Shopping Center so that we may continue to provide our shoppers and the community with the products and services that meet the needs of their families,” said Joseph R. Paolino Jr., managing partner of Paolino Properties. “It is great to see family-owned, Rhode Island-based small businesses continue to thrive in our community.”

The restaurant is located near Barrington Books, Rumford Pet Express and SuperCuts. 

“We are proud to open our restaurant in Barrington,” said owner Nedim Toprak. “The Barrington Shopping Center is a busy location and we are excited to serve the community with a healthy, homemade alternative.”

Business hours will be Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pita Pockets offers dine-in and take-out options. For more information, visit www.pitapocketri.com
