Alerted by an anonymous letter writer to possible drug distribution taking place at a local residence, Westport detectives executed a search warrant last Thursday.

At around noon, detectives entered the house at 223 Charlotte White Road and found an undisclosed amount of marijuana packaged for sale, digital scales, and $7,759, police said.

Devin Souza, 22, was placed under arrest and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana. He was later transported to the Fall River Justice Center for arraignment.
