Tuesday, Feb. 2

At 9:25 a.m., a resident entered police headquarters to report receiving a citation in the mail for a Florida toll, and said he'd not been in Florida in over 10 years. The matter was resolved with a call to the Florida toll authority.

A caretaker of a property on Ohio Road at 2:44 p.m. reported an attempted breaking and entering.

At 2:51 p.m., an Ocean Drive resident reported a neighbor harassing a propane delivery person. After an officer spoke with the suspect, the matter was resolved.

Wednesday, Feb. 3

A Long Highway resident was watching his friend’s house and at 11:28 a.m. reported that someone had vandalized it and taken some items.

Friday, Feb. 5

A West Main Road resident reported at 10:32 a.m. that his vehicle had been struck by snow from a vehicle he was following on the road, and that the front license plate of his car had been ripped off, and that he was was not able to find it.

At 1:08 p.m., a driver lost control of her car on Westport Harbor Road and struck a utility pole. Her vehicle sustained minor damage, but she was uninjured and able to drive from the scene.

At 2:30 p.m., a driver struck a utility pole on Burchard Avenue, snapping it at the base. He left the scene but a witness gave officers details. The driver was located at his residence, and said he was un injured, but his car had sustained heavy damage.
