(Updated, 1:10 p.m.) EAST PROVIDENCE — The East Providence Police Department announced shortly after noontime Friday, Sept. 7, a missing person was located.
Victoria Adesola was reported missing since the previous day. On her own accord, she found her way to the Pawtucket Police station in the downtown area there.
"Ms. Adesola has been located," EPPD Detective Lieutenant Raymond Blinn reported. "After wandering around Providence and Pawtucket all night, she walked into the Pawtucket Police station about an hour ago and was fine. She has been reunited with her family."
Ms. Adesola, who is in Rhode Island visiting her son in East Providence, does not speak English. She was reported to have last been seen walking away from the Crossroads Shelter in Providence at approximately 5:30 p.m. Thursday evening and had not been heard from until some time Friday morning.
