EAST PROVIDENCE — Landon Rodrigues won four events as the Portsmouth High boys’ outdoor track team swept a meet in East Providence Monday.

The final team scores were Portsmouth 92.5, East Providence 59.5; and Portsmouth 139, St. Patrick Academy 0. 

The Patriots improved their record to 6-1, with a final regular season meeting on Monday, May 1, against St. Raphael Academy, Tolman, and Shea.

Rodrigues won the 110-meter hurdles in 16 seconds flat; the 300-hurdles in 42 seconds; the long jump with a best leap of 21 feet, 0.5 inch; and the triple jump with a best effort of 39 feet, 7 inches.

Other first-place finishers for Portsmouth were Sean Gray, 3,000-meter run, 9:45.2; Chris Vachon, 1,500 meters, 4:33.1; Kevin Sullivan, 800 meters, 2:09.1; Aidan Chen, 200 meters, 23.3 seconds; Logan Quinn, hammer throw, 140 feet, 7 inches; and Tristan Thomas, pole vault, 10 feet.
