Accident happened at the corner of State and Thames Streets

The Bristol Police released the following statement this morning regarding yesterday evening's  motor vehicle accident:

"On September 23rd, 2026, the Bristol Police Department responded to a motor vehicle cccident involving a single vehicle and a pedestrian. A 64-year-old male pedestrian was struck at the intersection of State and Thames Streets. The pedestrian succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. This case is still under active investigation."
