After a five year hiatus, over 1,000 visitors came to Coggeshall Farm this past Saturday for a beautiful fall day featuring local artisans, farm animals, live music, children’s activities and demonstrations including apple pies baked in the 1790’s farmhouse, broom-making, corn-grinding and oxen team handling. Period games included egg racing, hay bale rolling, hoop and stick racing, and hayrides.
