Robert J. " Bob" Oliveira, 83, of Warren, died Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Hope Hospice. He was the husband of  Deborah ( Hunt) Oliveira; they were married for more than 42 years.

Bob was born in Warren, a son of the late Jesse and Mary ( Pimental) Oliveira. A US Navy veteran, he was a Mechanic for Crellin Handling Equipment Co. for many years.

Mr. Oliveira was a Warren resident all of his life and was a founding member of the Touisset Fire Dept. in Warren. He was a Warren Town Council member from November 1984 through November 1986.

Bob was an avid hunter. He also liked the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and stock car racing.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, James Oliveira and his wife Kristi of Barrington and Robert J. Oliveira Jr. of Riverside; his stepson, Jake White and his wife Mindy of Barrington; and his daughter, Lynn Lima and her husband Tony of Seekonk. Bob was the grandfather of Evan, Crystal, Sean and Jesse. He was also the step-grandfather of Abigail, Declan, Cooper and Eden. He was the great-grandfather of Silas, and the stepfather of the late Christopher White.
