A 14-year-old boy was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 29 after police were tipped off that the teenager allegedly made threats and was perhaps in possession of a firearm.

According to Lt. Christopher Perreault of the Warren Police Department:

“A family member advised authorities that a juvenile male had made generalized threats and reported that he may be in possession of a firearm. Upon Warren Police officers making contact with the juvenile’s parent and her son, a replica firearm and suspected narcotics were located at the residence where the juvenile resides. Subsequently, the juvenile was taken into custody and transported to Family Court where the juvenile was taken into custody and was charged with Possession of Firearms by a Minor, Possession Schedule I-V Controlled Substance and Disorderly Conduct.”
