Wednesday, Jan. 23

A man and women were reported fighting on Market Street.

A person came in to police headquarters to report a stolen trailer.

Police assisted a mother and infant who were locked out of their Child Street apartment.

Police got a call about a cat abandoned on Union Street.

Police were called to Frank Court for a domestic disturbance.

Thursday, Jan. 24

Police received an anonymous call from a person complaining that a woman on Main Street was yelling at her children. Police checked it out but found nothing of the sort. INstead, two people were talking over relationship issues with two other adults. There were no kids there.

The owner of a Child Street business found a purse in his parking lot and brought it into police headquarters.

A loose dog was reported on Cutler Street.

Police got a complaint that several drunks stopped on Metacom Avenue at 10:35 p.m., threw a television into the road, and left in a blue pickup.

Police found a car parked on Railroad Avenue with an open driver's side door. It was an apparent oversight.

Friday, Jan. 25

A caller from Davis Street reported hearing loud banging.

A Child Street resident reported a stolen license plate.

Police were called to Ward Street for a disobedient juvenile.

A Third Street resident reported telephone harassment.

Police got a call that a dog had been left outside on Almy Avenue.

Sunday, Jan. 27

A man sitting by the river on Water Street at 11:39 a.m. was dispersed. He was using a ham radio, police said.

A Long Lane woman told police that her car was egged.

Two men were spotted fighting on Wood Street just before 4 p.m.
