Monday, Aug. 7
Vandalism was reported on Main Street at 10:44 a.m.
DOT was notified of a malfunctioning traffic signal at Metacom Avenue and Child Street at 12:02 p.m.
A past dog bite was reported on Wood Street at 12:33 p.m.
A report of slashed tired was logged from Federal Street at 2:20 p.m.
William Leonel Gomez Sinay, 31, of 395 Child St., Warren, was arrested following an incident on Child Street at 3:35 p.m. He was charged with two counts of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery, and disorderly conduct, both first offenses). He was arraigned and transported to the ACI early the following morning.
A woman reported that her phone may have been stolen from a parking lot on Metacom Avenue at 6:05 p.m.
DOT was notified of broken glass from smashed bottles on Child Street at 6:21 p.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 8
A man reported having an insect in his ear near Main and Campbell Streets at 12:05 a.m. Emergency personnel checked and assured the man there was no insect inside his ear.
David Sainplice, 34, of 37 Franklin St., Warren, was arrested at 12:11 p.m, following an incident on William Street. He was charged with two counts of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery, and disorderly conduct, both first offenses). He was transported to district court later that afternoon.
An Arlington Avenue resident reported at 2:15 p.m. that they had been assaulted by a significant other.
Police helped dispose of found ammunition from a house on Kelly Street at 6:02 p.m.
Police spoke to a man who was riding a skateboard in the middle of the road near Main Street and Village Road at 6:28 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 9
A 10-foot dinghy was found in the Warren River without a known owner at 2:02 p.m. It was tied off at the Town Wharf.
A man came into Police HQ with a harmonica set that he found, and reported it as lost property.
Damage to a tent on Water Street was reported by the Recreation Director at 7:55 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 10
A hit and run incident was reported near Water and State Streets at 12:28 p.m.
Jacob Rapoza, 35, of 560 Jefferson St., Fall River, Mass., turned himself in on a warrant charge of second degree child abuse at 1:26 p.m. He was transported to district court.
John Almeida, 45, of 76 Arlington Ave., Apt. #B, Warren, was arrested on a warrant at 7:49 p.m. He was charged with two counts of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery, and disorderly conduct, both first offenses). He was arraigned and released later that evening.
A Ridgeway Drive resident reported at 9:04 p.m. that someone had stolen their front license plate.
Friday, Aug. 11
Caleb Eckert, 20, of 725 High St., Victor, N.Y., was arrested following an incident on Main Street at 12:21 a.m. He was charged with two counts of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery, and disorderly conduct, both first offenses). He was arraigned and released later that morning.
Multiple callers reported an accident involving a car hitting a cyclist near Main and Market Streets at 8:01 a.m. One person was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
Police assisted a five-year-old who had become stuck in a swing on George Street at 11:59 a.m. No injuries were reported to the child.
Saturday, Aug. 12
A traffic jam on Water Street was reported due to a delivery truck at 3:10 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 13
Hunter Patrick Fhay, 20, of 4737 Summer Lake Circle, Moseley, Va., was charged with simple assault and/or battery and disorderly conduct following an incident near Mill and Crescent Streets at 12:28 a.m.
A man was bitten on Fern Drive at 8:11 p.m. while trying to separate two dogs who were fighting. The man refused a ride to the hospital.
