Middletown PD reported at 7:07 a.m. that they had recovered a stolen car that originated out of Warren.

Loose cattle were reported on Metacom Avenue at 7:09 a.m.

Narcan was utilized to assist a person experiencing an overdose in the Franklin Street public parking lot at 10:13 a.m.

Authorities received a report to assist a turtle in the road near Schoolhouse Road and Hezekiah Drive at 1:11 p.m. but the ambling fellow had seemingly made it to the other side by the time they arrived.

A Main Street resident reported at 1:43 p.m. that they had been assaulted by a neighbor over an issue regarding a car.

A loose cow was reported in a neighbor’s yard on Sachem Street at 1:48 p.m. The owner recovered the animal without issue.

Tuesday, April 30
Police checked on a woman on Main Street at 1:17 a.m. who was on the phone and in apparent severe distress. They learned she was upset over the loss of a pet.

Kevin W. Soscia, 68, of 28 Child St., Apt. #6, Warren, was arrested on an active bench warrant from the 6th District Court at 11:37 a.m. He was transported to court that afternoon.

A caller reported at 1:36 p.m. that they had been assaulted by a mechanic on Harris Avenue.

A Croade Street resident reported at 3:55 p.m. that they had received a call from someone claiming to be with Bank of America, who proceeded to threaten them by revealing the knowledge of their name and address.

Loose cattle were reported on Adams Lane at 7:13 p.m. They were corralled back into their proper pasture a short time later.

Wednesday, May 1
A Prudence Lane resident reported at 6:35 a.m. that their vehicle had been broken into during the prior evening, and believes several of their neighbors vehicles had been entered as well.

A caller on Child Street reported a man wearing a sweatshirt and a headlamp was acting strange in the area at 8:51 a.m.

A Barton Avenue resident reported at 5:49 p.m. that several people came down their driveway on bicycles and asked to take photos of the property. After declining, they left, and police spoke to them about the complaint.

Thursday, May 2
Police dispersed a man from a Main Street address at 5:15 p.m. after a call was made saying he appeared to be drunk.

Someone came into police headquarters at 6:00 p.m. to report vandalism to a relative’s grave. Police checked the site and found damage only to a flag in the area.

Friday, May 3
Police dispersed a man at 10:02 a.m. who was sleeping on the bench near Main and Croade Streets.

Damage to a vehicle on Child Street was reported at 12:07 p.m.

Police received a complaint at 8:40 p.m. from a Water Street resident that motorcycles in the area have been extremely loud, and that some of which might have illegal, after-market exhaust systems. They requested more patrols in the area to enforce noise violations.

Karen A. Eagan, 54, of 1 Grapevine Rd., Apt. #1, Gloucester, Mass., was arrested following a wellbeing check of a vehicle pulled over to the side of the road near Metacom Avenue and Fatima Drive at 11:06 p.m. She was charged with DUI of liquor (BAC unknown, first offense), and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer. She was given a summons for court and released early the following morning.

Saturday, May 4
Graffiti was reported on Main Street at 8:16 a.m.

Police dispersed a person at 4:47 p.m. who was observed fishing near the Warren Reservoir. They pointed out the ‘No Trespassing’ signs that were clearly posted.

Greg L. Alexander, 42, of 236 Water St., Apt. #F, Warren, was arrested on Market Street for a warrant out of Bristol at 5:20 p.m. Bristol PD took custody of him at 6:11 p.m.

A caller reported that several juveniles were harassing them at a park on Market Street at 6:28 p.m.

Ronald C. Waldron, Sr., 59, of 76 Anthony St., FL Apt. #1, East Providence, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Metacom Avenue at 11:47 p.m. He was charged with DUI of liquor (BAC unknown, first offense), and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer. He was arraigned and transported to the hospital the following morning.

Sunday, May 5
Daniel J. Davey, 60, of 138 Kickemuit Rd., Warren, was arrested following a single-car accident near Metacom Avenue and Kickemuit Road at 12:18 a.m. He was charged with DUI of liquor (BAC unknown, first offense), and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer. He was arraigned and released later that morning.

A business on Child Street called at 1:54 p.m. to report a man had entered the store, assaulted two customers and then fled.

A syringe found on Main Street was dealt with at 2:55 p.m.

A Prudence Lane resident reported at 8:04 p.m. that their motorcycle had been stolen some time in the prior week.
