Monday, April 1
A caller on Libby Lane reported loose cattle at 7:22 a.m. The livestock were secured a short while later.

Damage to a fence was reported on Child Street at 12:19 p.m.

A Turner Street resident told police at 12:33 p.m. their laundry may have been stolen from the doorstep. Upon further thought, they believed it also could have blown away in the windy days over the prior weekend.

Marcia D. Pereira, 30, of 4 Saint Louis Ave., Bristol, turned themselves in on a warrant at 12:45 a.m. They were charged with driving without a valid license (4th+ offense), and obstructing an officer in execution of their duty.

Cattle on Libby Lane were once again reported loose at 2:50 p.m. They were wrangled back into their pasture about 25 minutes later.

Latonya M. Plummer, 47, of 341 Metacom Ave., Apt. #3R, Warren, was arrested following an incident on Metacom Avenue at 4:34 p.m. They were charged with two counts of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery, and disorderly conduct, both first offenses). They were arraigned and released later that evening.

Police responded to Market Street at 5:14 p.m. following a report from a resident who had cameras posted in the area stating they had captured a naked man in the wooded area nearby. Employees from Sip N Dip on Market Street confirmed the man had also come inside the restaurant recently. They were able to locate the person and a rescue was called to take them for a mental evaluation.

For a third time in the day, cattle on Libby Lane were reported loose at 7:11 p.m. They were reportedly back in the pasture at 7:23 p.m.

Tuesday, April 2
Police received a 9-1-1 call that a deer had been struck on Main Street at 5:05 a.m. and was on the side of the road still alive. The deer had to be euthanized, and DEM was notified shortly after.

Police received a report from a concerned caller on Broad Street at 1:45 p.m., who was worried about two raccoons in the area potentially harming their pets.

A caller reported smoke coming from the wooded area off the bike path near Nobert Street at 4:25 p.m. Police found a camp fire in the area and ensured it was extinguished.

Wednesday, April 3
Police looked for a man near Child Street and Long Lane at 11:28 p.m. after receiving a report that there was someone dressed in all black trying to stop vehicles. Nobody was found in the area.

Thursday, April 4
Police received a report from Newport Hospital at 8:09 p.m. that a Broad Street resident had been bitten by a stray cat. The victim was scheduled to follow up the animal control officer.

Friday, April 5
Warren Police sent a BOLO to Barrington at 3:07 p.m. following a report from a caller who said their vehicle had just been the subject of a hit and run, where a dark blue work truck hit their mirror and kept driving north. Barrington PD confirmed they located the vehicle, and Warren police responded to their town shortly after.

A caller on Bradford Street called police at 3:19 p.m. after reporting that a dog without a leash attempted to attack their dog while on a walk in the area.

Police dispersed a person using a metal detector in Burr’s Hill Park at 5:53 p.m.

Saturday, April 6
Robert A. Carson, 40, of 14 Brown St., Apt #2, Warren, was arrested at 1:14 a.m. near Main and Union Streets following a motor vehicle stop. They were charged with driving without a valid license (4th+ offense), and an active Superior Court bench warrant. They were transported to the ACI later that morning.

Peter J. Bullock, Jr., 32, of 15 Central Ave., Warren, was arrested at 2:22 a.m. following a motor vehicle stop near Main and Haile Streets. He was charged with DUI of liquor (BAC unknown, first offense), and two counts of Possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance (first offense), and refusal to submit to a chemical test. He was arraigned and released later that morning.

The animal control officer responded to Nobert Street at 10:28 a.m. to assist an animal that had gotten its head stuck in a jar. They were able to free the poor creature.

A police cruiser was reportedly struck be a rescue truck on Davis Street at 3:22 p.m.

Sunday, April 7
An employee at a business on Metacom Avenue reported that there was a woman in the store at 10:33 a.m. who had been there for over two hours and was now sleeping in an aisle. The employee called concerned for their safety. Police reported the woman would be leaving the business shortly.

Police received a TIP411 report that there were people riding ATVs on Katie Drive, Kenny Drive, Fern Drive, and Mayo Drive around 3:02 p.m. They asked for extra patrols in the area.

Police responded to Fatima Drive at 5:09 p.m. for a report that a man was looking into the bedroom window of one of the caller’s children. The police caught up with the suspect, a juvenile, who said they were just looking for a friend. Police attempted to contact the person’s parents, and Bristol PD was eventually able to do so.

Monday, April 8
James M. Medeiros, 42, of 14 Brown St., Apt. #2, Warren, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop near Main and Broad Streets at 3:48 a.m. He was charged with two counts of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery, 3rd+ offense, and disorderly conduct, first offense).
