After getting washed out last weekend, Blithewold is expecting better weather as it invites guests to reserve a fire pit and enjoy the ambience this weekend. There will be two sessions of “Cozy Autumn Fires and Tasty Treats” each day, both Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 28 and 29.
Blithewold provides chairs, s’mores kits, a well-stocked state-of-the-art low-smoke fire pit, and a spectacular view of the Giant Sequoia in the sheltered Enclosed Garden. All you need to do is gather five friends and six marshmallow-roasting sticks. While you’re there, take a hike around the grounds.
Maximum of 6 people per one-hour fire pit reservation. Children 2 and under can sit on laps and don’t add to the maximum number in your group. This is a “take out what you take in” activity.
