The Warren Land Conservation Trust hosts a monthly walk of an hour and a half. The preserve has about 1.5 miles of trails that meander through meadow, shrubland, forest and saltmarsh habitats along the Palmer River. Many bird species may be found, along with a diversity of plant species. Dress for the weather, bring snacks/water, and don’t forget binoculars and cameras.
WHAT: Bird and nature walks
WHEN: Saturdays, April 15 and May 13, at 8:30 a.m.
WHERE: Haile Farm Preserve, end of New Industrial Way (see signs on Market Street), Warren
COST: Free and open to all
