Christmas specialty market in Tiverton on Sunday

This Sunday, Dec. 17, Tiverton Farmers Market hosts its fourth annual Christmas specialty market. From food aficionados to art enthusiasts, there's something for everyone. Offerings range from baked goods, fresh fruits and vegetables, micro-greens, mushrooms, a wide range of seafood and meats, pizza, empanadas, honey, chocolates, hummus and vegan donuts, to winter warmers like hot chocolate, coffee and soothing herbal teas. 

Meanwhile, art and home decor lovers will not be left out. There will be pottery, candles, woodworking, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces, fine linens, charming yard art, and toys and treats for furry friends.

The Christmas Specialty Market is free and open to the public. There will be live music by Alicia & Chris of the Virginia James Band.

WHEN: Sunday, Dec 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
