PORTSMOUTH — The Portsmouth Fire Department said it was “miraculous” there were only relatively minor injuries following a three-car accident on East Main Road early Friday morning.
Multiple 911 calls reported the accident near Randall Lane just past midnight, the department said.
Two ambulances and one fire engine responded to the scene.
“Firefighters arrived to find three cars involved in the crash, with two cars rolled over,” the department stated on its Facebook page. “Miraculously, there were only relatively minor injures. A 50-year-old man was transported to Newport Hospital with injuries to his chest and arm.”
The Naval Station Newport Fire Department provided coverage at the station.
