Specialty Thanksgiving Farmers Market in Tiverton on Sunday

The third annual Thanksgiving Specialty Farmers Market takes place on Sunday, Nov. 20,
from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m at the Tiverton Middle School cafeteria event space. Stroll the food
vendors, producers, makers and artisan's handmade products. With over 40 local vendors,
you’ll be sure to find something interesting and tasty to get your holidays started.

The Tiverton Farmers Market is a great way to experience new foods and buy unique and
locally made gifts for the holiday season. Enjoy fresh microgreens, baked goods, seafood, jerky,
prepared & ethnic foods, mocktails & more. Vegan options are also available.

Get a jumpstart on your holiday shopping. Pick up one-of-a-kind gifts from local artists and
makers. Stroll the aisles for pottery, candles, alpacas clothing & socks, paintings, jewelry and
toys & treats for your pets.

Enjoy live music by Mel Hawkins.

Event is free and open to the public.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
