Seals tours this Saturday in Newport
Hop aboard vessel Katherine of the Jamestown Newport Ferry to do a loop around Newport Harbor, pass by Citing Rock and Rose Island and a few other nearby spots that the grey seals frequent this time of year.
The tour is one hour (no narration) and binoculars are provided. The boat departs from 1 East Ferry Wharf in Jamestown, R.I. This boat is comfortable for cruising, but they recommend visitors wear warm clothes (and maybe bring a blanket to keep your seat warm) as it may be chilly outside.
