Workers represented by Teamsters Local 251, which includes bus drivers for Bristol Warren, have ratified a contract with First Student, ending the possibility of a work stoppage that was threatened as recently as last week.

Matthew Taibi, Secretary Treasurer for Local 251, said in an email that the contract was approved by a vote of the union last Thursday evening and that, “Our members and Local view it as a fair contract. We have no further details to report.”
