PORTSMOUTH — Here are some recent highlights from the Portsmouth Police report:

Wednesday, April 21

Charlene Pimental, 30, of 31 John St., Fall River, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after the vehicle she was driving was pulled over for committing a roadway violation on West Main Road at Raytheon around 3 a.m. While speaking to her, police said officers could detect the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. During a probable cause search, officers discovered multiple Suboxone strips located in the vehicle’s center console, according to police.

Jade E. Nunez, 31, of 21 Mount Hygeia Road, Foster, was arrested on a warrant after the vehicle in which she was a passenger was stopped around 12:40 p.m. on West Main Road for multiple equipment violations. Police determined there was a warrant for Ms. Nunez’s arrest out of Cranston. She was later released to the custody to Cranston Police.

Kevin J. Pietkiewicz, 25, of 64 Erastus St., Providence, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (first offense) after his vehicle was pulled over on Route 24 North at Sprague Street shortly before 5 p.m. because his front window had a heavy tint. While performing an inventory search of the vehicle, a pill bottle containing what was later determined to be prescription narcotics was located under the front driver’s seat. The bottle had no prescription label on it, according to police. He was also cited for driving without an active license, police said.

Sean T. Craft, 42, of 54 Lisa Terrace, was charged with domestic disorderly conduct after police responded to his home around 7:30 p.m. to investigate a report of a domestic altercation. When officers arrived, Mr. Craft was no longer on the scene, but it was determined he had acted disorderly in the presence of a 44-year-old Portsmouth woman with whom he had a domestic relationship, according to police. He later reported to the police station, where he was charged, police said.

Saturday, April 24

William H. Gerlach, 18, of 506 King Road, Tiverton, was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense) after his vehicle collided with a sign on Turnpike Avenue around 4:30 a.m., police said.

Jordan T. McDonald, 30, of 27 View St., Providence, was charged with disorderly conduct after police responded to Portsmouth Liquors, 1557 West Main Road, around 4:40 p.m. Police had received a call that two disorderly people refused to leave the business and were acting erratically in the presence of other customers. Once on the scene, officers determined that probable cause existed to charge Mr. McDonald, according to police.

Timothy E. Carter, 45, of 5 Aborn St., Newport, was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense) after being stopped on Route 24 North at Boyd’s Lane around 9:40 p.m. for speeding and committing a roadway violation. Mr. Carter was also cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test.

Sunday, April 25

Rebecca R. Harvey, 30, of 205 Columbia St., Apt. 3, Fall River, was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense) after being pulled over for driving the wrong way on Route 24 North at Cedar Island shortly after midnight, police said.
