Portsmouth Concerned Citizens to host candidate nights

PORTSMOUTH — Portsmouth Concerned Citizens is sponsoring a meet the candidates night for town council candidates on October 16 at 7 p.m. School candidates night will be October 17, at 7 p.m.

The event will be held at the council chambers, Portsmouth Town Hall, 2200 East Main Road.

This an opportunity for citizens of Portsmouth to meet the candidates for the upcoming election," said Michael L. Soares, a spokesman for Portsmouth Concerned Citizens.

Citizens will be able to submit questions in writing at the door for the candidates to answer and meet the candidates after the formal sessions. Refreshments will be served during the post question and answer period.
