Police: Warren woman flees hit-and-run accident in Barrington
Police issue woman summons for 'failure to stop for an accident'
On Monday, April 4, Barrington Police received multiple calls for an erratic driver spotted in the area of County Road traveling toward Warren. The vehicle was also allegedly involved in a hit and run accident in Barrington.
Police shared the description of the suspect vehicle, and a few minutes later Warren PD contacted Barrington Police, stating that they had stopped a vehicle matching that description.
Police later issued a summons to Marley P. Flint, 36, of Warren, for failure to stop for an accident resulting in damage to a vehicle.
Police said Flint’s vehicle collided with another vehicle and she then left the scene, pausing to flash her middle finger at the other driver. Police said Flint was not forthcoming with information when they spoke to her.
Police issued Flint a Sixth Division District Court summons and a number of vehicle moving violations.
