The Mt. Hope tennis team will potentially face its toughest opponent this year when they go up against Scituate High School in Saturday’s Division 3 Championship.

The Huskies earned the championship bid on Thursday, Oct. 17 when they beat Coventry High School in the semi-finals at Barrington High School. Mt. Hope took that match 4-1.

The Mt. Hope girls went undefeated in 14 games this season against their Division 3 East competitors. At Saturday’s finals they will face the equally undefeated Coventry team from the Division 3 West.

The winner of that match up, to be played at Slater Park at 11 a.m., will claim the Division title.
