Author Stephen King, the master of horror, turns 75 this month, and Fall River Public Library is honoring his birthday with “Other Worlds,” an interactive live exhibit, on Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The entire library will be the stage for this walk-through exhibit featuring scenes and characters from Stephen King novels all along the way.

Immerse yourself in "Other Worlds" of terror as the library pays tribute to some classic works of horror writer Stephen King. Visit a small town in Maine named Castle Rock, walk the Green Mile, or take a vacation to the legendary Overlook Hotel in Colorado. Meet Firestarter, Pennywise the Clown, Carrie, Annie Wilkes, Jack Torrance, and other unforgettable characters, some friendlier than others.

This free exhibit opens at 5:30 p.m. and will remain open until 7:30. You can arrive at any time during these hours. We recommend that you allow 15-20 minutes to walk through and view all the scenes. Due to themes of horror, this event is strongly recommended for adults and teens 13+.

Please note that the library will close for business at 5 p.m. on the day of this special event.
