Letter: Disappointed in the Robin Rug runaround

Posted

To the editor:

Let’s be honest here. The proposed Robin Rug development project, as planned, is shaping up to be another Roger Williams University dormitory with little or no benefit to the taxpayers of Bristol. It would have been wonderful to turn it into open space for all to enjoy.

As for historic, the only thing historic about the buildings is that they are old, and in another 40 to 50 years, underwater.

Let’s hope the Bristol Town Council will have a better perspective on this project and not just one to benefit another in-and-out developer.
