The Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra and Providence Singers usher in the holiday season with the perennial favorite, Handel’s Messiah, featuring the Hallelujah Chorus, For Unto Us a Child Is Born, I Know That My Redeemer Liveth and other favorites. Christine Noel, Artistic Director of the Providence Singers, conducts the Orchestra, Singers and soloists—soprano Sonja DuToit Tengblad, mezzo-soprano Margaret Lias, tenor Marc Molomot and baritone Nicholas Laroche (pictured), who is a Woonsocket native.
