The Barrington High School girls basketball team won its fourth straight game, defeating East Greenwich 44-40 on Thursday night, Jan. 10.
Cary Heterick scored 13 points, Olivia Middleton finished with 12, and Alex Marinelli added eight to pace the Eagles' offense.
Barrington held a 17-15 lead over East Greenwich at halftime, and increased the advantage to 13 points in the second half. The Avengers battled back late in the game but the Eagles held on for the four-point victory.
Barrington improved to 4-1 in Division I-B standings and 7-2 overall.
