This Sunday, Feb 19th, The Chamber Orchestra of Barrington at St. John’s, conducted by Edward Markward, will celebrate Black History Month with a concert of works by an array of Black American composers. The program will include music by Jessie Montgomery, Adolphus Hailstork, William Grant Still, as well as Copland and Teleman. Consuelo Sherba, director of Aurea, is the
featured viola soloist.
