Identity fraud was reported on High Street at 11:21 a.m.

Rhode Island State Police were advised of a possible scam targeting a resident of the Rhode Island Veterans Home on Metacom Avenue at 11:35 a.m.

Police received a report that a man with a shaved head was possibly urinating in public on Gooding Avenue at 12:13 p.m., but nobody was found in the area matching the description.

Thomas Shaughnessy, 43, of 8 Prospect St., Bristol, was arrested following a disturbance on Prospect Street at 12:21 p.m. He was charged with one count of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery, first offense). He was later transported to court.

A Harrison Street resident reported at 2:55 p.m. that someone was cutting down bushes on their property.

Tuesday, Oct. 3
A caller reported that someone took out his money from an ATM at Cumberland Farms on Metacom Avenue at 12:18 p.m.

A report of found narcotics was received from Mt. Hope High School at 2:31 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 4
A man who was reported as possibly intoxicated outside of Jacky’s Galaxie on Metacom Avenue at 2:08 p.m. was reportedly transported to the hospital.

A man reported to police at headquarters that another driver threw an object at his car in the area of Metacom Avenue and Ferry Road around 2:25 p.m., which caused damage.

Police restored peace at Raposo Farm on Metacom Avenue after a report of a disturbance at 3:06 p.m. A woman was served a no trespass order as a result.

A tire was reportedly slashed at Independence Park at 6:10 p.m. but the owner did not wish to file a full report.

Victoria Quintal, 29, of 394 Metacom Ave., Apt. #34, Bristol, was arrested on Metacom Avenue at 9:09 p.m. and charged with simple assault and/or battery, vandalism, and disorderly conduct.

Thursday, Oct. 5
A deceased deer was seen in median near the southbound lane of the Mt. Hope Bridge at 6:19 a.m. DEM was contacted to pick up the animal.

A deceased deer was reported on Hope Street at 6:46 a.m. DEM was advised to come pick it up.

Police received a report that a man was harassing staff at the Cumberland Farms on Metacom Avenue at 10:54 a.m.

Police received a report that a man threw an item at a woman’s car near Bay View Avenue and Wood Street at 12:41 p.m. following a road rage incident.

Mark Carroll, 58, of 9 Roosevelt Dr., Bristol, was arrested at the drive through of the Dunkin Donuts on Metacom Avenue at 12:45 p.m. He was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and was later transported to Newport Hospital.

Damage to a parked vehicle was reported at Colt/Andrews School on Hope Street at 5:13 p.m.

Police received a report of multiple juveniles throwing eggs at houses and ringing doorbells on Lafayette Drive at 7:49 p.m. but a check of the area turned up no mischief.

A serious car accident on Ferry Road at 9:11 p.m. involving a vehicle rollover brought fire and rescue personnel to assist.

Friday, Oct. 6
Police dispersed two men from the area of Wood Street at 12:30 a.m.
A person reported there was a dead deer in the water near Independence Park at 8:41 a.m. It appeared to have been skinned, according to one responding officer. The narrative said that initially DEM would not respond to remove the animal, but eventually they were contacted and agreed to come dispose of the animal remains.

Police were informed of four females walking down Franklin Street carrying white chairs at 10:57 p.m. but found nobody there.

Police were asked to look for a man at 11:13 p.m. who was walking around the area of Wood Street apparently talking and whistling loudly, but they found no one in the area.

A rescue was ultimately requested for a man police were searching for after a report that there was someone banging on cars while yelling near Chestnut and Hope Streets at 11:39 p.m. Police found him in front of the Mt. Hope track.

Saturday, Oct. 7
Mark Dallaire, 30, of 2713 Dove St., Fort Pierce, Fla., was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Metacom Avenue at 2:14 a.m. He was charged with DUI of liquor (BAC unknown, first offense), and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer (first offense).

Vandalism was reported on Constitution Street at 9:51 a.m.

Two reports complaining about the noise from an event at Thames Waterside Bar & Grill at 8:46 and 9:42 p.m. found them to be in compliance of the noise ordinance.

Sunday, Oct. 8
Police looked for people allegedly driving ATVs in the road near Sherman and St. Anna Avenues at 4:00 p.m. but they found no one there.

A caller on Gloria Street reported that a man punctured a tire on his vehicle before leaving the area at 10:51 p.m.

Jessica Rogers, 43, of 39 Viking Dr., Bristol, was arrested following a disturbance on Viking Drive at 10:59 p.m. She was charged with two counts of domestic violence (refusal to relinquish/damaging/obstructing a telephone, and disorderly conduct, both first offenses).
