Monday, Sept. 4
A motor vehicle accident reported near Hope Street and Valley Drive at 1:59 p.m. resulted in one being requested to the hospital.

A panhandler was dispersed near Asylum Road and Hope Street at 2:16 p.m.

One person was detained but not arrested following police response to a reported fight on Coggeshall Avenue involving several men and women at 5:34 p.m. A rescue was also requested.

A fire was extinguished from under a vehicle in a driveway on Greenway Drive at 10:26 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 5
DPW was advised that a stop sign at Naomi and Dartmouth Streets had fallen down at 7:35 a.m.

Anthony Heller, 46, of 307 E 44th St., Apt. #912, New York, NY, was arrested at 12:08 p.m. on a warrant. He was charged with stalking, and two counts of cyberstalking and cyberharrassment. He was transported to 6th District Court later.

A woman was removed from a Wood Street address at 4:54 p.m. following a disturbance.

Wednesday, Sept. 6
Police spoke with the owner of a landscaping truck that had blocked access on Peck Avenue at 10:21 a.m.

A woman reported she was threatened by a man while in a drive thru on Metacom Avenue at 11:11 a.m.

Graffiti was reported on the former Walley School on High Street at 11:56 a.m.

Police looked for juveniles who were reportedly operating gas-powered remote vehicles at Veterans Park on Wood Street at 7:46 p.m. but no one was in the area when they arrived.

Thursday, Sept. 7
Police received a report of an aggressive black cat that kept trying to attack people and dogs walking by on Bay View Avenue. Animal control reported they were aware of the incident at 8:35 a.m. The cat was later issued a 10-day quarantine at its home following a visit from animal control at 11:28 a.m.

Police restored the peace following a report of a fight on Franklin Street involving four people at 6:09 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 8
Police dispersed a man from State Street at 1:17 a.m. who was reported as potentially drunk and causing a disturbance.

The theft of construction equipment was reported on Franklin Street at 2:09 p.m.

Police investigated a white powdery substance found on Wood Street at 11:22 p.m. but found it to be innocuous.

Saturday, Sept. 9
Police dispersed someone from the area of Wood Street at 1:44 a.m. following a report of yelling outside a home.

Bristol PD investigated the report of dirt bikes traveling south on Route 114, reportedly without valid registration. They advised DEM that they had possibly ventured into Colt State Park around 2:33 p.m.

Police looked into a report of a large house party on Woodlawn Avenue at 11:06 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 10
A caller reported being assaulted by a female on State Street at 2:10 a.m.

Police received a report of a large amount of trash at the end of Lower Ferry Road at 8:56 a.m.

Police extricated a dog from a vehicle on Metacom Avenue at 11:09 a.m. that was reportedly inside the car with the windows up for more than 30 minutes. They sought to find the canine’s owner.

A passing boater reported to police that a person was painting rocks by the shoreline near Mt. Hope Farm on Metacom Avenue at 11:34 a.m. The harbor master was advised.

Police looked for people reportedly to be banging on street signs near Hope and Washington Streets at 7:59 p.m. but didn’t locate them in the area.
