Want to learn more about residential solar incentives? The Town of Barrington will host an online information session on Thursday, July 14, at 6:30 p.m., featuring Shauna Beland, from the Rhode Island Office of Energy.

The town is promoting residential solar installations, as federal the tax credit will decrease next year.

In addition to the online information, Barrington will also hold a tour of residential solar installations around town on Saturday, July 16. People who register will have the opportunity to speak with property owners who have already had solar installed on their homes.

On Sunday, July 17, the town will have a special booth at the first-ever Barrington Street Fair on Wood Avenue. The fair takes place from 3 to 6 p.m.
