Voter registration deadline approaching
Sunday, Oct. 9, is the deadline to register to vote in the November election which will be held this year on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
Tuesday, Oct. 18, is the last day to apply for a General Election mail ballot.
And Wednesday, Oct. 19, is the first day to vote in the General Election by mail ballot.
Voters may register online at vote.ri.gov
They may register in person at their town hall Board of Canvassers office. Or they may register by mail by downloading the form found at www.sos.ri.gov/divisions/elections.
