EAST PROVIDENCE — Vice President Joseph Biden spoke about the need for the country to reinvest in its tired infrastructure during an appearance at the Department of Transportation facility on Warren Avenue in city Friday morning, May 27.

Mr. Biden delivered his mostly prepared remarks in front of a large crowd of dignitaries and guests invited to attend the gathering, where among other items he highlighted the "RhodeWorks" initiative put forth by the DOT and Governor Gina Raimondo.

Mr. Biden noted that although America remains the world's only "super power," has its largest economy and the technological where with all to remedy its ailing infrastructure, it still needs to get behind a solid plan of investment into the multitude of road and bridge projects it faces.
