Barrington Scout wants to build composting bins for garden

Posted

Barrington's Jimmy Halfyard is trying to raise money for his Eagle Project.

The local teenager is a scout at Troop 6 Barrington and a senior at Barrington High School. He was asked to make four composting bins for the Barrington Community Garden. The garden is just off the Wampanoag Trail and gives residents the chance to grow their own produce.

Jimmy is trying to raise $800 to buy the materials to build the bins.
