Barrington High School freshman Madelyn Cox was recently chosen to participate in the 2016 USA Hockey Girls' U15 National Camp in St. Cloud, Minn. As a camp participant, Madelyn is considered as one of the top 200 players in the country in her age group.

Madelyn started playing hockey when she was five years old, skating on boys' teams until four years ago when she earned a spot on the Rhode Island Sting, a team coached by former Olympians Vicki Movsessian Lamoriello and Sara DeCosta Hayes.

Madelyn played for the Barrington, Mt. Hope, Portsmouth co-op girls' hockey team this past winter.

He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
