Dear DignityMatters:

I generally agree with your points, BUT, there's this:

"A legal representative of Mr. Calouro sent the town council a letter of intent to file suit about a month ago as a result."

If Mr. Calouro truly wants to keep "something in his life he’d rather not want the world to know" a secret, he should abandon this foolishness about suing the town.

If he continues, he should expect the town, its counsel, and its elected officials to do everything in their power to mount a defense. If they choose to be bare-knuckled about it, well that's their decision.

You can't poke a bear with a stick and expect not to get bitten.

He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
