Sarah is being very modest. She was an excellent softball player with all five tools! One of the best that Portsmouth and Rhode Island has seen. She was one of the leaders on an undefeated regular season varsity team at Portsmouth High School which played in Division 1. She went on to star on a the team composed of the finest scholar-athletes from all over the world at URI in the World Scholar Athlete Games. Her team, which she led in average, runs batted in, and home runs while playing shortstop, catcher and wherever else the team needed her most, went on to win the championship against the other teams that were coached by college coaches. Her experiences throughout her playing and coaching career will surely make this series a great success. Coach Alfano.
