The passage of this toll displays the most flagrant disregard for the local economy and local businesses that I have ever seen! The STOP committee worked their heart out getting the word out to all and doing the research needed to stop this toll. Our legislators have let us down in a big way! $5.25 if you do not have an E-Z pass??? Are you kidding me????

I am leaving RI at the end of the month and moving to South Carolina and I can't get away from this state fast enough! Every ounce of energy that the residents of this state have to devote to private enterprise is squashed before it gets started! It is the most user-unfriendly state to do business in!

Way to go Rhode Island!! And this drive to become the "first sustainable development state" in the country is right in line with the rest of the legislation being passed!
